Synopsis

José Luís Pérez, a first division referee with a reputation for being home-loving, goes back to the playing fields after several months of sick leave for depression. And it’s not just any old game but the one that is going to decide the league championship. Everyone is looking at José Luis. Is he really ready to go back and face the pressure of refereeing? Well no. He still hasn’t managed to get over the separation from his beloved wife, Eva. In need of help, he rings his best friend Rafa, a linesman who has to help him in his return to refereeing in the decisive game of the season. But more complications are lying in wait for José Luis, his ex-wife “betrays” him, the world of sport accuses him of being “bought” and now his soul mate and greatest support in the decisive game goes and gets himself into a tight spot.
